your own boat, there is an industrial size dry storage rack located on
the premises in a protected area and a lift to transport vessels. The
staff at Harbour point is one if the best (if not the best) in Marathon
and the Florida Keys.
The Florida Keys is a unique marine ecosystem
supporting a vast array of life, and spanning more than 100 miles
northeast to southwest. Being located between Florida Bay to the north
and the Florida Straits to the south contributes highly to the
biodiversity of the area. 
Florida Bay- provided with a constant flow of freshwater from the
Everglades and a daily tidal cycle from the Gulf of Mexico- has a very
unique and prolific structure of sea grasses. Dotted with islands,
shallow flats and banks the bay provides predatory gamefish ample
opportunity - thus creating an excellent fishery for Redfish, Snook,
Trout, Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and more.
On the flip-side you have the Florida Straits which encompasses the deeper waters south of the keys,
it is here that the Gulfstream makes it northerly journey on a year
round basis. The gulfstream running a constant 86 degrees year round
and carrying mass amounts of nutrient rich water provides for the many
species of pelagic fish that thrive here. Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo,
Sailfish and Marlin (both Blue and White) are found in the keys waters
throughout the year. On the inshore side of the Gulfstream is the only
living coral reef in the United States, which provides sanctuary for a
multitude of reef dwelling species including the groupers and snappers.
There is so much to explore on the water of the Florida Keys. The ocean
and bay have so much to offer, and endless delightful fishing
experiecnces. All together this area provides the sportsman with a
